Dream Triggers
March 10, 2006

Dreams are abound. I have them. You have them. Everyone has them. But I'm willing to bet many dreams are suppressed because nothing has triggered them to be released.  Suppressors of dreams are fueled by the viscous cycle of fear and procrastination. Fear of the unknown, fear of change, and fear of financial loss fuel procrastination.  The comfort of procrastination further nurtures fear.

What then, triggers a person to break this viscous cycle and follow his dreams?

I believe unhappiness and discontentment are the biggest triggers. A employee who is happy and content would be more than willing to procrastinate and put aside his dreams of entrepreneurship. A renter who is happy and content would be more than willing to procrastinate and put aside his dream of home ownership.  It would obviously be in the interest of employers and landlords to keep his employees or tenants happy and content.
